Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Learn Hebrew – Read & Speak ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users of the free and Premium versions.

2. Description of Service

Learn Hebrew – Read & Speak is an educational Android application developed by VIKTOR SOKOLIUK. The App provides structured Hebrew language learning content, including alphabet lessons, vocabulary exercises, reading practice, and audio pronunciation guidance. Some features are available for free; others require a Premium subscription.

3. Premium Subscription

The App offers a Premium subscription that unlocks additional content and features beyond the free tier.

  • Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Pricing and available plans are displayed within the App and on the Google Play Store listing.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings (Google Play → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Premium features until that date.
  • Refunds: All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
  • Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.

4. Free vs Premium

The free version of the App includes access to introductory lessons and a limited selection of content. Premium subscribers receive full access to all lessons, reading stories, vocabulary sets, and any future content added to the App. Features available in each tier are subject to change.

5. User Conduct

By using the App, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute App content without prior written permission
  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent any content restriction or subscription paywall
  • Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to lesson text, audio recordings, illustrations, and interface design — is owned by or licensed to VIKTOR SOKOLIUK. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. No content may be reproduced or distributed without express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific learning objectives. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and practice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VIKTOR SOKOLIUK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via an in-app notice or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
